The HDBAC is a large-scale event organised annually. In fact, it was the first full-house AC post-COVID without masks and we recall the auditorium to be bustling with excitement. That said, could you share the inspiration behind this year’s AC theme: Stepping into the Next Chapter as #OneHDB?

Even while HDB continues to battle the after effects of the pandemic, we are also looking ahead to move on as the world begins to recover and resume some normality. For HDB, we are also taking a step into the next chapter as we prepare ourselves for long-range and strategic issues on the horizon, especially given the accelerating pace of change in Singapore and our work.

There must have been a lot of time and effort invested into organising this event. We can still vividly remember the spread of food prepared especially! What was it like being part of the organising committee? 

It was definitely a fun and fruitful experience for us to organise the HDB Annual Conference 2023! One challenge was reverting to a full-scale physical event, something we have not done for a number of years. We had to get back into thinking about how we can manage the crowd and all the things needed for the audience such as the yummy tea-break

To ensure that the slides and videos play smoothly for the audience, we were using up to 4 laptops at the back-end!
